Compensation management is crucial for HR organizations, impacting employee performance, engagement, and productivity. Challenges include structuring competitive compensation packages, monitoring recruitment trends, matching market demand, and providing perks. Small companies may struggle to compete with larger corporations. Solutions include using tools like Payscale and Glassdoor to create benchmark salaries, shortlisting competitors, focusing on employer branding, and being creative with compensation. To compete, smaller companies should pitch unique and appealing aspects of their company(Gilbert 2013).

  1. I WILL READILY FIRE SOMEONE WHO IS NOT WORKING OUT FOR THE ORGANIZATION.
  2. WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE ON MY TEAM PROBLEMS WILL GO AWAY
  3. I WILL THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR A BUSINESS TEAM

Smart Managers know that employees are the company if they don't perform well the company doesn't stand a chance of succeeding. Many organizations are looking for their HR leaders to be able to understand in great detail the business and the challenges of the business(Hsueh 2002)

Mayo's HR theories can be effectively implemented in small businesses by promoting strong communication, creating group projects, increasing involvement between managers and employees, reducing negative interactions, setting established rules, creating a feedback system, and allowing employees to determine their own working conditions. Regular communication and open feedback can improve team cohesion, while intense interaction and cooperation through teamwork increase productivity(Opsahl and Dunnette 1966).

Managers should spend time interacting with employees on a personal level, learning about their motivations and feelings. Negative supervisor interactions can increase stress and fatigue, so it's important to avoid micromanaging. Establishing workplace rules and regulations can increase camaraderie and encourage employees to share their input. Providing a feedback system and allowing employees to determine their own working conditions can also benefit the company. Consulting services and online resources can help businesses implement Mayo's management principles effectively
(Pearce and Conger 2003).

A BRIEF UNDERSTANDING

Effective communication is crucial for successful collaboration. Managers should engage with employees through activities like workshops, seminars, training programs, and office luncheons.

These activities foster cooperation, understanding, and individual skill development, fostering a positive work environment. Workplace conflicts are inevitable but should be resolved rationally.

Avoid quick judgment and open-mindedness when responding. Miscommunication can lead to problems, causing loss of employees. To prevent conflicts, consider team-building activities that strengthen personal bonds between managers and employees.

This will help prevent misunderstandings and maintain a healthy work environment. To foster teamwork, set monthly goals and provide incentives for achieving them.

This can include corporate-branded swag, fitness perks, gift cards, bonuses, and free lunches. Offering physical benefits in addition to regular paychecks can boost employee motivation and cooperation. However, avoid using rewards to manipulate or punish struggling staff(Hsueh 2002).

    1. Thank you ! the influence on people management and the future of ideas and approaches. It suggests categorizing people management into personnel management and human resource management, but this debate has become unproductive for many managers. The commonsense argument of how best to manage people is not tenable, as the interpretation of information and observations can vary, leading to different managerial responses. In today's business environment, one-way-fits-all thinking is not valid. Organizations are increasingly developing a strategic approach to human resource management, viewing people as unique resources capable of creating competitive advantage or delivering best value. This approach aims to develop people management capabilities to build competitive businesses.
